When you hear the words “family business” a number of things immediately spring to mind. Perhaps small size is one of them, but while it is true that most family businesses start small, many grow to become significant players. We are one of them. For us, what being a family business means is working to build our network of relationships and trust by committing to a core set of values that everyone can relate to.
It is this commitment that we want to bring to your development, working to design and manufacture roof and attic trusses, among other timber products, to precisely meet your needs and, of course, to deliver them on time. Rather than seeing every sale as a one-off event, our family values mean that we want you to come back to us because you come to feel your relationship with us goes deeper than just sales. That’s why we have an ultra-responsive design process and always facilitate changes to designs based on what is going on on your site.
This attitude has served us well. Founded in 1999 by Scott McEwan, Nuneaton Roof Truss has grown from a local upstart to one of the industry leaders in the Midlands region. There is more to come, however. Our commitment to service and product quality has been paramount in building a large client base, and we are now working nationwide, bringing our bespoke design and production – as well as our first class communication – to quality housing developments across the UK. We are proud to now be a supplier to some of the best-regarded National House Builders, as well as our loyal local builders and contractors.
While continual growth is exciting, we intend to keep our feet on the ground. After all, the very best part about being in a family business is the same as the best part of being a member of a family: everyone knows exactly who each other is and shares a common understanding of what needs to happen and how hard everyone has to work.
Many of our founder Scott’s relatives work here at Nuneaton Roof Truss, but we want everyone who works for us, as well as everyone who comes to us for our renowned products, to feel as though they are part of a wider network of trust, excellence and shared values. That’s what we call a family business.
